Why Wifa?

Why do Coaches recommend WIFA?
All over the world  coaches confirm that the Prima boot is the best boot for beginners and  skating courses. Why?  Because of its optimal orthopedic  form, good fitting, stability and  strength  and all this at a reasonable price. It is also the first choice for the experienced Recreational Skater.

Growing with WIFA
Many international  champions, dancers, synchro skaters and professionals  have grown up in WIFA.    They make their first jumps in their Primas or Deluxe Skatecs and enter their first local competitions in their Deluxe Champions. They compete in national and international championships with their Deluxe  Goldstars or  Diamonds. And the  growing number of adult skaters  appreciate the  comfort and quality of a leather boot.

NEW DEVELOPMENTS

WIFA works closely with coaches and skaters to develop and  maintain the highest technical standards and individual requirements of today´s skaters.

The 2010 Deluxe Boot for optimal comfort
Following the recommendation of  coaches and skaters  for a more comfortable boot, with softer shaft padding, we developed a deluxe version for all models from Deluxe Skatec upwards.    It has a special soft padding from heel to toe and rolled top edges.  This is standard but normal padding is also available on request.  We recognise that  today there is a definite trend for more comfort.

The new Dance Boot
We  proudly  present our new Dance model - welcomed by coaches and dancers.  It is   made with top quality Italian leather.  The  cut down shaft and hinged tongue allow deeper knee bends and ensure  fluidity of line.  It  is gaining in popularity in many parts of the world.

Individual Fitting -  new CC-width
WIFA uses a  comprehensive range of   orthopeadic lasts and seven widths to ensure individual fitting.  We have recently developed an extra wide CC-width for today´s  wider foot,  available in Skatec, Champion, Dance, Goldstar and Diamond models.    See the Technical Guide  for further information.                  Fitting - what is the correct boot?
